I’m Levente, originally from Hungary. I currently live in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area while doing my PhD at UF FLREC in Geomatics. Specifically, I’m addressing different aspects of Volunteered Geographic Information – or whatever we call it.
Since I have a strong background in Geography and GIS, my interests really vary in space and time. Besides from working in the field, hiking or other outdoor activities I mostly deal with new tendencies in GIS and computer science. It’s not hard to impress me with any kind of innovative spatial stuff.
The key word of this blog is “OPEN”. What you find on this site is most probably a product of (Free and) Open Source Softwares / Open Data or other trendy terms. I honestly believe that our future is open and this is the right direction for us.
